The most-used part of your fence
Premier Fence builds and replaces gates for wood, vinyl, chain link, aluminum, and ornamental fence systems. A good gate should look like part of the fence, clear the grade, latch easily, and stay supported through daily use.
We ask what needs to pass through the opening before we decide how to build it. A garden gate, mower gate, trailer opening, and commercial access gate all place different demands on posts, frames, hinges, latches, and swing direction. That planning prevents many of the sagging and alignment problems common with generic gate installations.
What goes into a better fence gates project
- ✓Walk gates, double gates, mower gates, and wider access openings
- ✓Frames, posts, hinges, and latches selected for the gate size
- ✓New gates for existing fences when the surrounding structure is sound

Fence Gates FAQs
Can Premier Fence repair a sagging gate?
Often. We inspect the frame, hinges, latch, and supporting posts to determine whether adjustment, reinforcement, or replacement is the better solution.
How wide should a double gate be?
The opening should be based on the widest equipment or vehicle that needs access, plus practical clearance. We measure it during the estimate.
Can you add a gate to my current fence?
Yes, when the existing fence and post locations can support the new opening. Some projects require rebuilding a short section around the gate.
