Built for the Way the Property Is Used

Recent work with clean lines, practical access, and details that hold the project together.

These projects show several ways a fence can solve a real property need: create backyard privacy, control a wide opening, screen a service area, define a commercial perimeter, protect a view, or make an outdoor living space feel more intentional.

Look closely at the top lines, post spacing, gate locations, transitions, and how each project meets the home, lawn, retaining edge, drive, or patio. Those are the details we review during an on-site estimate.

Before We Start Building

The small details are what make a fence feel right when the job is done.

We talk through how the yard is used, where the fence should sit, and how people and equipment need to move before the first post is set.

01

What the fence needs to do

Privacy, pets, a pool, security, or simple curb appeal—the reason for the fence guides the material, height, and layout.

02

How the yard lays out

We walk corners, slopes, drainage, trees, retaining walls, and property lines so the fence follows the site naturally.

03

Where access belongs

Gate width, swing direction, mower and trailer access, and the everyday path through the yard are planned before posts go in.

04

How much upkeep you want

We match the material, hardware, and finish to the look you want and the amount of maintenance you are comfortable owning.

Project Planning Answers

Questions homeowners ask after finding a fence style they like

A reference photo is a useful starting point. The on-site estimate connects that look to the dimensions, grade, access, purpose, and priorities of your property.

Ask about your project
Can Premier Fence build something similar to a project shown here?

Yes. We can use the visible style, spacing, privacy level, color, or railing details as a design reference. The final scope will be adjusted for your property dimensions, grade, access, purpose, product availability, and local requirements.

What should I photograph before the estimate?

Take wide photos of the proposed fence line, the house connections, corners, grade changes, trees, retaining walls, existing fence, and the path a mower, trailer, or service vehicle needs to use. Close photos of damage or details you want to match are also helpful.

Can one project use more than one fence material or style?

Often, yes. A property may need solid privacy beside a patio, a more open fence along a view, chain link around a practical service area, or different gate configurations. Transitions should be planned intentionally so the project looks coordinated.

How are gate sizes and locations decided?

We consider who or what will pass through the opening, the approach and turning path, slope, hinge and latch placement, nearby structures, and how frequently the gate will be used. The right opening is based on real access—not a default size.

Can existing fence removal, repair, or staining be part of the estimate?

Yes. Point out the sections that need removal, repair, cleaning, or staining when you request the estimate. Those needs should be identified in the project scope so labor, disposal, materials, and finish expectations are clear.
